In the recent 32nd C.B. Paul Science Quiz organized and held at ACJC, our school sent in 2 teams of 3 people each. Led by Mr. Chew Mingzhi, the team put in their best effort to compete and have fun. One of our students, Koh Dong Hoon of 4E1, managed to get into the top 30% of the competitors, and received a bronze medal for his feat. The science department and the school would like to congratulate Dong Hoon for his wonderful result here. Dong Hoon has also written a reflection, which is posted here:----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was an exciting competition, and also a motivator for academic exploration.
Especially at the final round, competitive rivalry between elite students
was intellectually rousing for all of the participants. At the end of dramatic and unpredictable
showdown, we left our towering ambition for victory there, and brought back home spurred to academic
enlightenment. I thank Mr Simen, HSS science and maths department, SMC, and last but not least my teammates, for enabling me with the wonderful journey.
